Released just a day after Rihanna’s provocative Russian Roulette, the ties between Brown and Rihanna won’t be ending any time soon.
In other words, it’s not groundbreaking, but radio will eat it up. It will be at least a couple years before every ballad Chris Brown does gets related back to Rihanna, and there’s no doubt that his new single Crawl will be widely viewed as an apology of sorts the woman he assaulted, especially with lyrics like “ Everyone says were through, I hope you haven’t said it too.” Drama aside, musically Crawl picks up where Brown left off without missing a beat, letting the teen heartthrob crooner lift his good-but-not-great voice over lush and symphonic production from Nasri.
